Technically, yes. Practically, it's a big project. You'd need multiple routers or modems, SIMs from different networks, a bonding solution like Speedfusion or OpenMPTCP, plus a cloud server to handle the bonding itself. Then you maintain all of it — firmware, routing rules, failover logic, troubleshooting when something breaks.
And because we get bulk pricing on hardware and carrier data, we can offer this for less than you could build it yourself. If you love building this stuff, by all means. If you want internet that just works, we've already built it.

Not primarily. Waveform Internet is designed for a fixed location. We configure your hardware for a specific address and optimize the carrier selection around your local signal environment.
That said, if you move a few times a year, we can reconfigure everything remotely for your new address, no problem. What it's not built for is constant mobility — RVs, daily travel, or working from a different spot every week. If that's what you need, waveform.com has antennas and equipment designed to get the most out of a mobile hotspot plan.
It's totally up to you — Waveform Internet works either way. Keep your existing ISP and plug it into our router, and we'll manage it as one of your connections alongside 5G, either as backup or bonded together. Or, if you're unhappy with your current ISP, we can replace it entirely with dual 5G.
Both setups work equally well; it's just a question of what fits your situation.
Each tier changes how your connections work together. Essential is automatic backup: if your primary connection drops, your 5G kicks in on its own within a few seconds, then hands back when your main line recovers. No action needed from you. Smart uses selective bonding: critical traffic like calls, VPN, and gaming runs across both connections so it never drops, while browsing and downloads run at full speed. Smart+ is Smart with a third modem and a third carrier for the most bandwidth and the most ways to stay online.
Bonding has some overhead, so bonded traffic comes with a speed cap. On both Smart and Smart+ that cap only affects your protected traffic — browsing, streaming, and downloads always run at full speed.
For most people, Smart is the best fit. Smart+ is for sites that want maximum redundancy across multiple carriers. The pricing table above has the full breakdown.
Depends on your tier. On Smart and Smart+, no — bonding keeps your session alive on the other connection, so calls, streams, and games keep running without a blip. On Essential, there's a brief 1–10 second outage while the switch happens, and active calls may need to reconnect.

Absolutely. Starlink plugs in as one of your WAN inputs. We can bond it with 5G for maximum resilience, use it as a backup, or route specific traffic across whichever connection performs best in the moment.
